An aluminum can hydraulic press baler is a machine that uses hydraulic pressure to compress loose aluminum cans—such as used beverage cans (UBCs)—into dense, compact bales. This process reduces volume by up to 80 percent, making storage and transportation much more efficient. Dense bales also fetch better prices in the scrap market.

The hydraulic system applies force through cylinders to a compression ram, which pushes the cans against a solid surface inside the chamber. Once compressed, the bale is ejected and ready for shipment to recycling facilities.
